Post 25: Question 2 - How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

The screen grab above is a good example of how the ancillary tasks helped the main product. The main reason for this being it is a shot from one of the scenes in the film of arguably the two most important characters and it is also used on the top of the film review. It is the dominating picture in the film review that grabs the audiences attention first.

The screen shot to the left of Conor and the one below of Sammie are very significant. The reason for this being that in the poster we had one face made up of both a male and female. This can highlight the importance of both a woman and mans point of view in an unlikely situation and also helps promote the film to both genders.

The title of the film is also another part that links the ancillary tasks carried out and the main product. Obviously it is the same throughout all three documents, but it is also very bold and easily noticeable in all of them, showing the audience the title of the film so that they know and can go watch it if that is what they wish to do.
